Storage Unit Fire (February 2015)
The storage unit where we store our tools and other materials burned, one of about 10 units at the facility affected.  It looks like most of the tools survived, although they're blackened -- at least now distinguishing our tools will be easy.  Plastic items melted, as did synthetic fabric, like t-shirts and tool bags.  (No one ever points out that advantage of cotton-- some old cotton t-shirts were fine, whereas the newer wicking synthetic t-shirts melted.)  Although plastic bins melted or warped, many of the items inside were o.k., once we cut through the bin with a power saw.  The survivors moved to a new storage unit.
