The benefits of being a member of FOTP continue to grow. Membership entitles you to a 20% discount at Colorado Running Co. anytime, or a 10% discount at EMS, (Eastern Mountain Sports) on club day which will be April 26 & 27, 2003.
I would like to introduce another way for volunteers to save. There is an organization, which is dedicated to improving community through encouraging volunteering. They offer a co-op for groceries. If you volunteer for anyone, FOTP included, you are eligible to save about 50% on groceries. The association is called Share Colorado. It is not affiliated with Care and Share. The groceries they offer are not second hand or donated. They purchase the goods in large quantity at wholesale prices, and reduce the cost by using a 100% volunteer distribution network. If you are interested in saving money on groceries, call them at (303) 428-0400 or (800) 933-7427. They will send you information or tell you where the distribution center nearest you is located. Distribution centers are located by Zip code. There is one near you.
