Trail Between Bear Creek and Manitou Springs
This 8.8 mile section of the trail includes portions of the Hunters Run Trail, Palmer Trail, Manitou streets and Intemann Trail.
At the Bear Creek Portal, look for the Ring the Peak trail sign at the east end of the Hunters Run Trail.
At the Manitou Portal you are looking for the Paul Intemann Memorial Trail. The Trail is on asphalt between Pawnee
Avenue and the Tot Lot, and again between the Manitou Cemetery and the point where the
Intemann Trail
crossed the Crystal Park Road. If you are traveling counter-clockwise do not follow the Intemann Trail
where it crosses Crystal Park Road. This section of the trail dead ends into private property.
Motorized Vehicles: The portion of this segment from trailhead 10 to Section 16 trail
follows the High Drive, is open to all motor vehicles. The portion that follows Manitou City streets
is open to all motor vehicles.
