Trail Between Frosty Park and Bear Creek
This trail segment is about 6.3 miles long. The trail begin at the north end of Frosty Park
following the Foresters Trail (FS trail 701). It soon branches off to the right and follows
the Pipeline Trail (FS 668) to the junction of Seven Bridges Trail (FS 622).
At this point stay left and follow FS 668 to the Jones Park Trail (FS 667). In this area there
are several social trails which can be confusing. Unless you are familiar with the area be sure to
carry a map and compass. Follow FS 667 downstream to where the trail crosses the stream. Do not
cross the stream instead continue straight down FS 666 to the High Drive. Go left on High Drive
a short distance to the Bear Creek Portal.
Motorized Vehicles: The portion of this segment between Trailhead 9 (Frosty Park) and Buckhorn Trail turn-off is
open to motor cycles and snowmobiles.
